How do I earn Points?
Points are earned by taking actions such as creating an account, making a purchase, or referring a friend.
You must have an account and be logged in to earn and use points.
How do I know what my points are worth?
First Order points for Referrer = 250
Points earned for account signup = 100
Points earned for writing a review = 100
Earn Points Conversion Rate £1 = 5 points
Minimum Points Discount = 500 = £5 discount
Can I use points with a code too?
No. But you can use points against sale items and bundles when codes don’t apply.
IMPORTANT USAGE INFORMATION
Because our skincare range is naturally self preserving, we have not included any synthetic chemicals in our formulations. To keep your skincare fresh and safe to use it is important to use the spatula/scoop provided. Do not allow water to get into the jar and do not use wet/dirty fingers to extract balm. Following these instructions will ensure your skincare stays fresh and is preserved for 6 months from first opening. (3 months for the exfoliant).
DOES MEADOW ONLY USE NATURAL INGREDIENTS
Yes, Meadow only uses 100% natural ingredients in all its formulations. We only use plant based cold-pressed oils, butters and clays and avoid refined products, artificial chemicals, alcohols and all the other nasties present in many skincare products. We pride ourselves on sourcing only the best raw, active ingredients nature has to offer. Our entire collection is vegan.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS ORGANIC?
The majority of our ingredients are organically certified. We are committed to sourcing ingredients of the highest quality we can find to ensure our products are as fresh and potent as they can be. Not all our ingredients can be certified organic, such as clay. Some of our wild harvested plants are of higher quality than organic plants would be. For example, our lavender oil is sourced in our local village, freshly harvested and available for us to use immediately, ensuring potency and freshness.
IS OIL-BASED SKINCARE SUITABLE FOR OILY SKIN?
Absolutely. Most products on the market targeted for oily and acne-prone skin are full of harsh chemicals that strip delicate skin and exacerbate the problem. Our oil-based skincare products do not upset your natural skin barrier, therefore helping to balance your skin and alleviate oiliness.
WHY DO YOU RECOMMEND DOUBLE CLEANSING?
Cleansed skin is the first step in your skincare routine. The reason we recommend that you cleanse twice in the evening is to ensure your skin is thoroughly clean before applying your other products. The first cleanse removes your make up, pollution, dirt, toxins and SPF and the second cleanse provides your skin with a deeper clean. It’s more hygienic and better for your skin. Oil based cleansers are the best performers for a double cleanse. Our cleansing balm is suitable for both your first and second cleanse. You only need to cleanse once in the morning…unless you went to bed in your make up! We’re not judging!
DO YOU TEST ON ANIMALS?
We are 100% cruelty-free. We source all our ingredients within the EU, where testing on animals has been illegal since September 2004. Our formulations are always tested on humans, never on animals.
DO YOU HAVE ANY VEGAN PRODUCTS?
All our products are 100% vegan. We avoid the use of beeswax in our formulations, a product commonly found in balms. Instead we use candelilla wax, which is plant derived and totally sustainable.
ARE MEADOW PRODUCTS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY?
Yes. All our ingredients are sustainably sourced from a handful of trustworthy suppliers. We source locally, where possible, and the majority of our ingredients are organic. Our glass packaging is recyclable and we encourage you to re-use these beautiful miron jars. We avoid external packaging and excess wrapping to keep our footprint small.
WHY DON’T MEADOW PRODUCTS CONTAIN WATER?
By avoiding the use of water in our formulations the need for synthetic ingredients is eliminated. Water-free products don’t require the use of harsh preservatives and emulsifiers which leaves more room in the jar for active ingredients. See more information under our Ingredients page.
HOW LONG WILL MY PRODUCTS LAST?
All our products will last 6 months from opening (3 months exfoliant). However, please store them in a cool, dry place to protect the natural ingredients inside and to help preserve their shelf-lfe.
MY PRODUCTS HAVE CHANGED CONSISTENCY. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
We formulate all our products in Kent, England, where it’s mild in temperature. If we are fortunate to get hot weather or our products are taken to hotter climates they may change consistency in the heat. If your balm melts a little, simply put it in the fridge for 30 minutes to harden up. This does not effect the product performance in any way. Likewise, if your product has been in an extremely cold environment and feels too solid, you can warm it on the radiator or between your fingers.
DO YOU OFFER FREE SAMPLES?
We understand it is important to try products before making an investment and offer a travel sized set for purchase which contains smaller versions of our products – perfect for sampling.
We try to include complimentary samples with every purchase but this depends on what we have in stock. Samples also make lovely little treats for a friend or family member!
How do I recycle my jar lids?
Once you have collected 8 lids of any size, return them to us in one of your parcel boxes. Email us at email@example.com to get our return address.
WHEN WILL MY PRODUCTS BE SHIPPED?
All our products are made by hand in our kitchen in Kent. We endeavour to create and ship your products the next working day after the order is placed. However, please allow 3 to 4 working days for arrival.
HOW ARE MY PRODUCTS BEING SHIPPED?
